Ada beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan agar publik speaker bisa menjadi publik speaking yang baik atau sukses, seperti;
1. menguasai materi yang akan disampaikan sehingga ketika proses publik speaking sedang berjalan tidak akan mengalami orang yang seperti kehilangan kata dan suara
2. kuasai audien dengan cara diajak berdialog sehingga akan timbul keakraban antara publik speaking dan audien sehingga mengurangi tingkat nervous yang kerap menghantui para publik speaker.
3. kontak mata harus dilakukan oleh publik speaker agar terjadi hubungan emosional antara audiens dan publik speaker sehingga audiens bisa respect terhadap publik speaker
4. Gunakan Intonasi yang baik agar suara yang keluar atau yang didengar bisa membuat audiens menikmati apa yang anda kemukakan
5. gunakan para bahasa agar bisa membantu anda jika sewaktu-waktu anda lupa tentang bagian materi mana yang belum disampaikan
6. sewaktu-waktu gunakan waktu luang atau ketika tidak menyampaikan materi gunakan untuk ”bercanda” dengan audiens agar suasana yang tercipta bisa lebih hangat.
